Welcome to UDP professionals in Earth Leakage Detection

UDP have been appointed by MPT as the sole contractor responsible for the installation of earth leakage monitoring points on all 3 sections of the new Manchester Metrolink extension. The work involves connecting data cables to new bridge structures, nearby high-pressure gas, water and telecommunications equipment and installing reference cells adjacent to the equipment to be monitored. All data leads are then fed into a UDP designed underground or cabinet mounted monitoring test socket where data loggers can
be installed for the continuous monitoring of
any stray currents both before the overhead
lines are< energised and then during operation
of the trams to monitor any changes in condition.
